Available Positions
Colburn Law represents individuals and families in their claims for personal injury and wrongful death. We are seeking an experienced, driven, empathetic, gritty and team-oriented Paralegal.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain regular and meaningful communication with clients
- Draft and prepare settlement demands
- Manage calendar, including tracking deadlines
- Submit, follow-up, and review Public Records Requests
- Submit, follow-up, and review Medical Records and Bills
- Create ledgers and medical chronologies
- Obtain and review client wage loss information
- Contact insurance companies for payment ledgers, policy information, and updates
- Closing files
Skills:
- Three years of experience in personal injury law
- Working knowledge of legal procedures, protocol, and court systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Filevine knowledge preferred but not required
- Friendly, upbeat and confident communication style
- Eagerness to ask questions, learn, and receive feedback
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks based upon urgency
- Excellent attendance (remote work is offered based upon schedules and need)

Colburn Law represents individuals and families in their claims for personal injury and wrongful death. We are expanding our thriving team to add a Litigation Attorney who is experienced, driven, empathetic, gritty and team-oriented.
As a Litigation Attorney at Colburn Law, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our clients’ lives. You must be a passionate and skilled attorney with at least three years of personal injury or litigation experience, ready to take lead on cases already in active litigation.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in all stages of litigation, from preparing to file the case through verdict
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, mediation letters
- Conduct depositions, hearings, arbitrations and trials
- Engage in negotiations and mediations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of experience in personal injury litigation
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- No disciplinary record
- WSBA membership

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team and backfill this role because our current receptionist has been promoted. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and provide administrative support across the organization.
Duties
– Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
– Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
– Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
– Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
– Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
– Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
